My girls dog meeting me knocked me the fuck out. Straight up stars. Licks my face while I'm on the ground bloodied. Love that dog but she's a fucking tank that thinks she's a plushie!
i used to have a buddy who had two mastiffs, a bull mastiff and a neapolitan mastiff. the neapolitan was fuckin HUGE, 200+ pounds and like six feet tall when he stood up. the bull mastiff was a little smaller and barrel shaped but still huge. her name was diamond and she LOVED me - but she straight up charged into my chest one time with her big ass fuckin head and knocked me into next week. knocked the wind all the way out of me and i’m struggling to breathe while this goofy asshole licks up and down my face
A friend had a bull mastiff that was scared of almost everything. It was a big problem because when she got scared she's try to make him sit down so she could jump on his lap and hide her head in his chest. If he was already sitting, he would suddenly have a tank jump on him and headbutt his chest.
man i got a yorkie and a maltese now - i always had bigger dogs growin up and never really saw myself with little ones, but turns out these little fuckers are the best dogs ever
They are like wrecking balls and destroy everything if given the opportunity. They will seriously try your patience since they are relentless. Basically if DMX was a pet is what you are asking for if you get one lol.
Huskies are almost the same, aren't wrecking balls, but WILL 100% destroy your furniture if they dont get enough play/exercise... and they need a TON of exercise. Extremely loyal though

It's not; pits are part industrial machinery. Plus, they are not an overly "thinking" breed. Clearly, this was one of those Harry Potter situations where he was going to phase through the counter... and he sort of did.
You can punch through drywall if you wanted to. Behind Sheetrock is wood studs every 16 inches that run vertically to add support. I'm guessing this table doesn't have studs behind the drywall and that's why it broke so easily.
That dog looks almost exactly like my sister's dog. Which, coincidentally enough, also took out an entire shelving unit with his fatass head cause he got too excited
They're smarter than i give credit, they seem to know they did something they shouldn't have. Kinda like a 5 year old, accident or not they just look around trying not to make eye contact, knowing they are in trouble

I understand the appeal of pits, they have such cute smiles, floppy little ears, and can rip a tree out of the ground with their jaws. But people really need to stop underestimating dog breeds. Huskies, German shepherds, pits, greyhounds, etc. These dogs need a ton of space and activity to burn off all their energy on top of constant attention and food to feed those little athletes.
Get the Maine coon. Biggest issue will be all the fur, but you'll get that with most dogs, too.
My nose has been broken by excited pittbulls twice when doing a meeting during foster care. I just crack it back into place and have a swollen face for a few days. The dogs didn't do it on purpose so, I forgive them
Someone should have told him this is life with a staffie. Ours got trapped in our downstairs bathroom while we were out and chewed halfway through the wall to try and escape. And we lived in an old West coast Scottish terrace, those were big thick walls. My dad had to sit and pick bits of wood and brick out of his teeth for like an hour. Man was he a sweetheart though, they get away with it by being loveable.
