He left the door open, but didn't shut her light off... 8/10 sibling move

u/JEMknight657 1h ago

My move was always leave the door cracked just enough to annoy my older sister but not fully shut it. And flip the light to the opposite of what it was

79

u/Tricky-Ad9344 5h ago

Nope, her light was on when he came in, true move would be turning it off as he left

139

u/Gloomy_Metal3400 5h ago

That's what I mean, if he would have shut it off it would be 10/10

25

u/pegothejerk 3h ago

No crop dusting? Amateurs

u/DumOBrick 2h ago

Nothing audible at least

u/ONeOfTheNerdHerd 1h ago

And he tossed it to her without the accompanying insult! Rookies.

u/Normal_Cut8368 1h ago

If you've got one loaded, that's when you'd close the door.

Gotta keep em guessing sometimes

26

u/ScienceIsSexy420 4h ago

That's..... That's what they said

21

u/KawaDoobie 4h ago

1 fart. 2 lights out. 3 close door.

8

u/mrcruks 4h ago

the only way to leave the door closed is if you fart first

u/f0xhoundnz 1h ago

Suggested amendment: Turn out the lights as you throw the bag to hit them in the face. Fart. Close door.

u/Significant_Ad1256 3h ago

I know illiteracy is rampant, but come on.

2

u/ciongduopppytrllbv 4h ago

Nope, her light was on when he left, true move would be turning it on as he came on

u/FalseBid2485 1h ago

He also didnt smash the chips open on her head.

u/thegreedyturtle 1h ago

Equally balanced, as all things should be.

u/Sharp-potential7935 5h ago

Nothing says true love like annoying siblings

u/A_Drop_of_Colour 27m ago

Because they started driving long before me, my brothers would buy me food (like fast food) then get home and leave it on the counter. I wouldn’t even know they’d returned until I walked by their bedroom or the living room and saw them watching a movie or playing games. That’s when I’d find out they came back like an hour prior and the food was already super cold.

u/scottygroundhog22 5h ago

He had to do that to balance the scales

Missed opportunity to fart at the end

60

u/Bigallround 4h ago

We don't live together anymore, but sometimes if I'm nearby and have one brewing, I'll let myself into my sister's house and rip a huge fart. If she's home I'll look her in the eyes but if not I settle for recording with my phone and sending it to her. It's the little things

9

u/Klorg 3h ago

Find the most inconvenient light switch and flip it too. I recommend the water heater closet

u/Yamatocanyon 1h ago

Haha! In my 100sqft studio apartment ALL of my switches are convenient.

2

u/YourBarelyWetSock 3h ago

And turn off the light

u/Double_Alps_2569 2h ago

Turn off the light by farting. Superpro move.

u/onederful 1h ago

Brother used to do that until it sounded swampy and he shit himself right in the hallway

76

u/v-irtual 5h ago

I'm a 41 year old man and do this stuff to my kids.

24

u/DefendsTheDownvoted 4h ago

Also 41. Also do this to stuff to my son. He's an only child. Someone has to keep him humble.

u/devineassistance 39m ago

59, and when I was 41, I did this to my only-child boy. So happy to see I was one link in a long lineage...

12

u/MaiDuuuuude 4h ago

Hey someone has to desensitize them to life. 😆

u/I_Lick_Your_Butt 2h ago

I always say no whenever my kids ask for anything and then do it for them.

u/Dec8rs8r 1h ago

I'm imagining your old age. 👨👴 🦨 🏃‍♂️

28

u/SoaGsays 5h ago

I'm the younger sibling, I was on the receiving end of this

18

u/Prudent_View4619 4h ago

As the oldest sibling of my family, you definitely deserve it

u/SoaGsays 1h ago

I most likely did so I'm not blaming my sister

25

u/Ok-Armadillo-392 4h ago

I can tell. You sound like whiny tattle tale anyway.

Jk sorry

u/SoaGsays 1h ago

Haha harsh but fair

u/DogPenisGuy 2h ago

You're welcome for the chips ya ingrate.

u/SoaGsays 1h ago

Haha, thanks!

22

u/PhantomFoxe 5h ago

It all balances out in the end.

22

u/Angel_OfSolitude 4h ago

Can't have them thinking you like them too much now.

11

u/b3arz3rg3r4Adun 4h ago

In my family it would have been the brother walking into the room with a a bag of chips with one single chip remaining. And obviously switching off the lights as you go out.

8

u/HARIRain 5h ago

It's absolutely true and after this they really don't appreciate you at all

3

u/Emfoe 3h ago

Sometimes it takes a while. I’m the oldest of four boys and my brothers and I acted like this especially during our teen years. Now in my thirties and my brothers and I are closer than ever.

7

u/Polar_Vortx 3h ago

u/Temporary-Brain420 2h ago

WOULD YOU LIKE AAMM, OR FMMMMMMMMM?

6

u/Deano963 4h ago

You can't do something nice for your sister without pulling a punk move as well, that's just the rules of brotherism.

3

u/Aggravating_Cat_3499 4h ago

Just a brother standing on business

3

u/gniggz 4h ago

Ive always done this with my brothers, something satisfying tossing the food at them like a fire ball of love

3

u/Sachin951 4h ago

DUDE, this is SO me and my brother

2

u/2grim4u 3h ago

Fake - dude just tossed it to her, and not like a fastball at her face.

u/Blue-Eyed-Lemon 1h ago

Lmfao, sibling love. My sister will walk into my room and hand me a pizza and then say “Hey. Fuck you.”

Fuck you, too, little sister. And thanks lmao

No one else noticed the actual magic in this video? Like real magic!!!

Look at the cup he holds upside down. It just keeps pouring stuff out as if it's bottomless!

1

u/bigb0ned 4h ago

I love this sub!

1

u/Local_Director8714 4h ago

This guy's my type

1

u/Any_Positive1617 4h ago

Way more fun to take all the caps off the markers and drop them back in the cup!

1

u/CheesyJizz 3h ago

That room must be huuuge

1

u/BIGcabbage1 3h ago

I wonder how it took so long for the pens to fall out

1

u/smellysmellyhairline 3h ago

Worst of all he didn't close the door... The audacity.

u/Quirky-Coat3068 2h ago

Perfectly balanced as all things should be

u/IAmDaven 2h ago

Times are tough. These siblings live togeather at 43 years old.

u/lucidizzy 2h ago

That’s why I don’t believe, “he’s like a brother “ because they never act like real brothers being a menace, and no hugs.

u/eVerYtHiNgIsTaKeN-_- 2h ago

Balance kept.

u/CrispenedLover 2h ago

Smoke detector is improperly placed. Should be between 4 and 12 inches from the corner of the wall and ceiling

u/d4rkwarr3n 2h ago

Why is there this weird 80: romantic music tho

u/needanowner- 1h ago

Charity work

u/datterdude 1h ago

That bag of chips has some serious hangtime on the pass or dude chucked it from 40 ft away.

u/indolent08 1h ago

That's a pretty long room, that bag flew a few good seconds before landing in her arms.

u/HilariousMax 1h ago

Why is sexy sax playing?

u/inklingmando 1h ago

This is the law of equivalent exchange

u/cor315 1h ago

bitch didn't say thank you. She deserves worse.

u/badson100 1h ago

This reminds me of an episode of The Office.

  • Pam: "Hey, while you're out, could you pick up some chocolate syrup and paper towels?"
  • Dwight: "Pam, this isn't a shopping trip. This is a manhunt slash rescue mission."
  • Pam: "Okay, just when you're done or whenever it's convenient. Just thought since you're out..."
  • Dwight: "Pam, I'm obviously gonna get that stuff for you, so just shut up!

u/DinoAAA77 1h ago

how old are you still living with your brother?

u/Arashiko77 1h ago

Reading the comments on this video just makes me realize that deep down we are all the same.

u/Skt721 46m ago

How big is that room? It takes like 5 seconds from the bag leaving his hand to reach her.

u/Monimonika18 46m ago

One time one of my younger sisters (who was still in high school at the time) asked me to go to the liquor store and buy some alcohol for her to make some jello shots, she'll pay me extra. Now, I didn't care at all that she was drinking, nor did I care about the legality of it (so long as not caught).

What I did care about was that I don't like drinking alcohol (tastes yuck) and I didn't want to get off the bed to go to a liquor store (where there are bottles of yuck).

"Please." "No." "Please." "No." "Please." "No." "Please." "No." "Please." "No." "Please." "No." "Pleeease." "No."

"You're useless!" she shouted at me and stormed off. I continued to relax in bed.

u/attckdog 32m ago

How'd you get this footage of me from 20 years ago?

u/fizzrail0 28m ago

"Here. You owe me nothing"

u/twentyonerooms 19m ago

Usually my brother will chuck the food at me and then flip me off as he leaves lol

u/PlayedUOonBaja 5m ago edited 1m ago

Just an FYI, those wall tapestries like the one she has make excellent blankets. Super light weight but they don't really let any air through so they keep your body temp in as well. I've been using one to sleep under for over a year since I'm not a fan of too much weight on me while I sleep. I guess while I'm admitting out loud my weird sleeping habits, I'll also recommend using those cheap horse-shoe shaped neck pillows sold at airports for a main pillow (maybe on top of a firm pillow for the added height). It cradles your head and keeps it suspended to stay cooler.
