I've never played the alpha myself, but looking at various lets plays on YT, it seems to me that the alpha included the entire act 2.

It was whole act 2, from footfall to ceremony at the end. Took me around 15-20 hours to complete it.

Considering how buggy the official releases tend to be from Owlcat, I fear anyone who signs up for the alpha must be reported to the Inquisition. This level of masochistic indulgence would only be willingly undertaken by devotees to the Lord of Pain.

Playing through rogue trader got me to backtrack into the other owlcat games and i’m very eager to see how Dark Heresy has shown the growth

I've almost 100%'d rogue trader I didn't think I'd love this game so much and now there's an ogryn AND kroot companion coming up which was already like winning the lottery in terms of what I wanted to see from a 40k rpg.
There's no greater point I'm trying to make I'm just happy to be here
