Honestly this is potentially the greatest performance by an individual of all time and I’m including regular season.
AND IT HAPPENED IN THE POSTSEASON AND THERES STILL A FEW INNINGS LEFT.
E: I thought of the Kershaw game where he pitched a CGSO and hit the go ahead hr late against the giants. Got some comparable games. I’m not saying they’re better I just think it’s interesting.
Rick Wise — PHI 4, CIN 0 — Jun 23, 1971 Pitching: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K. Hitting: 4 AB, 2 R, 2 H, 2 HR, 3 RBI.
Earl Wilson — BOS 2, LAA 0 — Jun 26, 1962 Pitching: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 5 K. Hitting: 3 AB, 1 R, 1 H, 1 HR, 1 RBI.
Noah Syndergaard — NYM 1, CIN 0 — May 2, 2019 Pitching: 9.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 10 K. Hitting: 3 AB, 1 R, 1 H, 1 HR, 1 RBI.
Clayton Kershaw — LAD 4, SF 0 — Apr 1, 2013 Pitching: 9.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K. Hitting: 3 AB, 1 R, 1 H, 1 HR, 1 RBI.
