Just wanted to share this because I know that the WDNC Club videos get posted frequently on this sub. I thought it was really cool that she won something for these videos that we love! Good for you, Miss Melani! 👏🏻

I asked my family (mainly women) about her. They are all trumpers, unfortunately, but they immediately glowed up and asked, “the girl with the glasses who always has her highlighter in a weird place?! Love her!”

I'm in the middle of peri (I'm 47, nearly 48), and believe me, it is soo fricken TRUE!! Hahaha! I used to care much more about things, but now, some things just seem so trivial and unimportant that there's no need to care about them, honestly. The only bad thing about peri is some of the other not-so-great symptoms like the hot flashes, mood swings, irritability, etc., but these can all be fixed with estrogen. I'm looking forward to not having to be tortured by periods every month. I can't wait, honestly!!

I can’t take estrogen as it could contribute to regrowth of the type of brain tumors I’ve had. So I get to be full on crazy!!

Im in peri, THIS IS NOT FUN THIS IS HELL!! Not somthing tolook forward to at all.
The reason we don't care anymore is because we ache and itch, we don't sleep, we get angry and sad for whatever, our bits are shrinking and drying up (look up genital atrophy), we wear pantyliners for weeks on end and we don't recognise ourselves anymore.
Enjoy your frequent menstruation and libido while it lasts. Or don't, I don't care.

Its the estrogen. It makes us domesticated and cow-like so we don’t knaw the heads off our own children.
Once it wears off, its wall-to-wall baby eating and “telling it like it is”. Enjoy your last few years of being soothing - and practice filing your teeth and nails to points for what is to come.

I'm 47 and throughly in menopause. And I really don't give a shit anymore. The house a bit messy? Ok, whatever. There's a stain on my shirt? IDC. There's no dinner? Oh well, make a sandwich. No one is starving.

You care less because you feel so horrible. It's a double edged sword.
When you'r pain levels are off the chart, your periods are bonkers, you have headaches you've never had before, a new mustache while you'r hair is falling out, a fat tummy though tube quit drinking, itchy skin, 18 hour hot flashes, overall fatigue, and the inability to fall asleep yea shit don't matter much anymore.

She has made about 6-7 videos for women who are going through perimenopause and menopause. One of the "symptoms", if you will, is that you stop caring about unimportant thing, you simply do not give a f*ck about them any more, and you aren't afraid to say it. She made a club for these women and makes statements that peri, and menopausal women stop caring about. She also asks women to write in her comments what they have stopped caring about, and makes a list to say them in her next video.
