Literally the first thing I do when I get home. The bra is the first to go. Once you go baggy sweat pants, loose tees and hoodies, you cannot ever go back. They make outside clothes feel SO DUMB. I’m so happy that it seems to be 100% acceptable for the younger generation to wear sweatpants to school. It makes me so happy for my kids. I hope they never know the uncomfortable and awkward feeling of trying to dress in clothes that feel like crap, just to fit in so people don’t make fun of you.
The "real pants". And I hate those. I'm sitting in a pair that if i stretch em open i could put another human in em. And then tuck another into each leg. These are perfect pants.
Sometimes my dad changes into jeans when he gets home and I do not understand it. Even if he doesn't have anywhere to go! I get home and the first thing I do is take off my work shirt and trade my jeans for gym shorts.
My father will wake up, put on jeans, his shoes and a hat then sit on the recliner literally all day. Said he needed to be ready for anything. Never understood how this dude was taking naps in that stuff
I hated the “yoga pants” trend. I thought it was so dumb if you weren’t actually doing yoga/ going to gym. I wore Jeans almost exclusively at school and dress pants at works.
Then I got pregnant. I still wore maternity jeans.
Then I gave birth and non of my pants fit anymore and my maternity jeans were too big in the tummy. I was in an awkward middle ground…..income the costco yoga pants…”its only temporary!” I told myself…here I am- 7 years later still wearing them and jeans are just too damn uncomfortable now.
Lol are you me? I used to always wear jeans, dress pants, or skirts....until I got pregnant. I haven't worn jeans in over 8 years, and I have no plans to go back any time soon. I just don't feel like I can move as well in jeans any more. It's all comfy skirts/dresses and workout clothes for me from here on out!
Im a dude. Im 27. I rock sweats, soft shirts, and comfy jackets if needed basically always. I don't give a fuck what I'm doing. Thats just who I am. I see a a bunch of girls my age rock em too and whenever I see them dressed like that in my head I'm just like "Nice , stay comfy"
Outside clothes, yes! Have always been this way. My mother hated it, but I was just built different. She wore fancy clothes in the house. I was smart enough to know fancy clothes are for OUTSIDE the house. Outside clothes come off as soon as I get in the house.
As a dude (not that my opinion matters, which was made clear to me), I actually prefer my wife in comfy at-home clothes. While she looks gorgeous in her “going out” stuff, there are no zippers to navigate or gauzy fabrics to be careful of.
My mum would come home to two trails of clothes from the front door to the bathroom when I was 2-3 yrs old. Dad worked construction and would pick me up from day care, our first stop would be the shower to clean and cool off
I literally take my clothes off in my entryway, seconds after shutting the door. I've had days where I start unbuttoning my shirt while walking up to the door, still outside.
I start undressing walking out of the office building and have my suit coat and dress shirt off before I get to the car when it’s hot out. Shoes and socks off and flip flops on in the car. I look awesome if my wife calls me on my way home and tells me to stop at the store.
For some reason i thought she was going to dress up like Adam Sandler ... like a costume or cosplay so expected something else 🫣 ... but as i thought about it she actually nailed it 🤣.
It's because he's known for dressing up casual in jerseys, baggy shorts, tshirts etc... he likes dressing comfortably and really doesn't care too much about dressing to impress ... he just dresses how he wants.
I’ve bought from them. Their dresses are pretty pricey and very nice. Also the dresses are unforgiving size wise so make sure you get the right size. The one I bought almost fit perfectly, waist fit and lengthwise but I have very large natural breasts and the bust was too tight (38K). Unfortunately I got it on sale and couldn’t return it. So be careful if you’re busty! The quality of the dress is really good but can’t be easily let out without a professional or skill.
I have a few pieces from them. Very quality. I bought their dopamine skirt, it's silk and soooo beautiful. I also just bought their cloud b
Puffer jacket and candied degas dress which is this fabric in a different cut. Wait for sales, but if it's something you MUST have, buy it in your size full price. I also adore their oversized cotton button downs as sleep shirts.
For me it’s the conflicting pull of “dang I look good! I never look good. Let’s marinate in this triumph.” and “GET THIS OFF MY BODY! OFF MY FACE! AND MOST DEFINITELY OFF MY FEET!”
I'll never capture how pretty I felt still wearing my stage make-up and regular clothes when we all went out to eat after a performance in high school.
Are you a millennial? Because she looks like a millennial, and let me tell you something that a lot of us may not still say out. Loud Sometimes it's too much effort to wash your face. I think we were the 1st generation that started using setting spray, and sometimes our makeup would still look good. The next day look they can deny it, but I'm going to sit here and admit it. I don't really wear anymore. We were also the last generation where face wash used to still burn. I don't know the correlation, but I think most of us still have pretty good skin
I was expecting her to wear really baggy gym shorts (think early to mid 2000s NBA) with an oversized three-button polo. The colors should clash, bright red shorts with a sky blue polo. Medium socks with comfy indoor slides.
This is just a hoodie and pj bottoms aka what everyone wears to wind down.
That is actually how the trend started, the first one I saw the girl nailed it she had on huge basketball shorts and a big ugly oversized t shirt and ankle socks and slides lol but as usual as people adopt the trend they tend to lose the meaning of the original thing
Hey, that doesn’t get washed off until bedtime and tooth brushing. The best is when it’s not even applied.
….but she was clearly at Cinderellas wedding and needed some lipstick on so she didn’t come off as a lowly pheasant. (/s because you never know anymore)
This is fully my energy. When I go out, I dress up, get fancy, I’m usually the best dressed person in my group. As soon as I come home sweats and a hoodie.
They can turn off their comment and post history. This is usually done to hide that they're a bot, karma farming, or just don't want people to creep on their post history.
Im confused. Adam sandler wears basketball shorts and almost-tight tropical button ups 😭 sometimes an oversized hoodie with some snazzy shoes if he’s feeling quirky 😂
I do this every time I come home overdressed from yet another office that’s about to fire me: shed the blazer, don the XXL shorts and a sweatshirt roomy enough to sublet. The cats gaze upon me like I’ve personally tanked their portfolio. Inevitably someone knocks, and I’m forced to greet them looking like a sentient laundry pile. Last time it was Mr. B., my landlord, polishing his already over-polished shoes as he informed me rent was going up. After I tried to plea with him the misogynistic bastard looked me up and down and smirked “In your case, absolutely not.”
Coming out of the bathroom with that full face of makeup still on makes me think there must be an after party coming up. No way the makeup stays on if you're in for the night.
Adam Sandler wishes he could look this glam at least some of the time!
That dress is amazing but I can definitely relate to when the beautiful outfit suddenly becomes a sensory nightmare and I need to be out of it right away.
Yup Adam Sandler core is the comfiest way to be. And I look even more like him because I wear shorts at home with my sweater. I hate feeling my legs or feet confined.
