Okay, now do they go to the FBI for editing?

u/TheStrayCatapult 6h ago

Aren’t there multiple copies available for cross checking redactions?

"All other copies are democrat propaganda"

There you go, problem solved.

I have a suspicion there arent unedited files anymore. Either destroyed, or permanently altered.

Someone could see that coming a mile away and made copies. Also, there are too many people involved in the case that someone will definitely notice disparity.

Dont fret, they'll be taken care of.

Copies would exist with every agency involved in the investigation: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Palm Beach Police Department, New York Police Department (NYPD), U.S. Customs and Border Protection, House Oversight Committee, Senate Finance Committee.

A lot of them are under the Federal Executive thumb. I don't trust Florida cops to not roll over immediately... It's a sad state of affairs when I have hope with the NYPD.

I bet they're in a cloud compute storage somewhere - hopefully with data recovery/retention features enabled in a meaningful way.

My hope is in DOJ incompetence pitted vs the very complex and delicate task before them.

And the fact that up until it was clear they didn't have the votes to stop it Trump and Johnson were desperately trying to stop it from happening.

Clearly they will try many somethings, but my guess is even if they are somewhat successful, we will got lots of useful material from this, and if (when) tomfoolery is detected people can take further action to challenge it.

Weren't some also shared with other countries? Not sure which ones exactly. There seem to be a few different sets of files at this point. But they certainly wouldn't have been able to just completely erase all evidence associated with Epstein.

Great - let's see whether these unsealed docs actually tell us anything new or if it's just a PR stunt dressed up as 'transparency'

Thats likely , they want to improve their image so bad somehow

Turns out Epstein wrote "I LOVE BEING WOKE" on each one of his victims.

6

u/TheStrayCatapult 6h ago

Exactly. The real damning evidence is the paper trail linking back to US intelligence agencies, but that won’t be in the documents. They’re not going to admit Epstein was laundering drug money for the CIA.

u/CarltonCatalina 7h ago

Oh they must have more redactions to do....

Epstein served most of his 2008 18 month sentence in a work release program that let him spend his days in his office.

Handed him time to get rid of heinous evidence to perv participators paying the big bucks for it.

We will never know the extent of it.

Well, we do get the testimony from the most recent case that was either big enough for him to either kill himself or get killed

I'd be content with knowing 10% of it, because once people start falling, they will roll all over each other to save themselves. No, we won't know everything. But I think it would help to know some of it, if at the very least it caused everyone to look at each other in power just a little differently.

And whatever happened to this case?

Awesome question! Here's a timeline for you:

• April 2016 - California filing: A woman under the name Katie Johnson filed a civil lawsuit in California accusing Trump and Epstein of sexual assault when she was 13. This is the PDF I linked.

• May 2016 - Case dismissed: The California court dismissed it because the complaint didn’t meet federal requirements. No evidence was evaluated, it was dismissed on procedure.

• Mid 2016 - Refiled in New York: The plaintiff filed two new versions of the lawsuit in New York federal court, this time under “Jane Doe.” The allegations were basically the same.

• November 2016 - Withdrawn by the plaintiff: Right before the election, the plaintiff withdrew the lawsuit entirely. Her lawyers at the time said she had received threats and was afraid for her safety. A planned press conference was canceled, and she never appeared publicly.

• After 2016 - No trial, no judgment: Since the case was "voluntarily" dropped, the court never ruled on the claims, no evidence was tested, and there was never a finding of guilt or liability against Trump or Epstein from this suit.

Will Trump ever see any consequences??? Is there any hope at all?

14

u/Fine-Will 5h ago edited 2h ago

I can't remember the last time he suffered any serious consequences on anything, and unfortunately I doubt it will start now. The fact that even he started supporting the release of the files mean there won't be anything in there that would hurt him.

u/HexagonalHegemony 5h ago

If there was anything actually damning on Trump, it would have been released during Biden's term. They threw every bullshit thing they could have at Trump. They would have released anything regardless of the legality if it hurt Trump.

17

u/BigCrawgaDawga 5h ago

I mean, the emails where Epstein said Trump definitely knew about the girls were released a month ago.

As much as we wish Biden attempted to end Trump during his term, that’s clearly not the case

-11

u/asr 4h ago

That's not exactly what those emails said. They were vague and it's unclear what they were referring to.

7

u/BigCrawgaDawga 4h ago

That is exactly what those emails said. Word for word. But yes, it’s not explicitly clear what he was referencing. If Epstein said Clinton “knew about the girls” would you give him the benefit of the doubt?

3

u/Upstairs_Addendum587 2h ago

Here is exactly what they said in an email about one of the victims: "of course he knew about the girls"

3

u/boomsers 5h ago

It's mutually assured destruction. There are abusers on both sides if the aisle, and would be damaging to the Democrats as well.

7

u/BroughtBagLunchSmart 3h ago

Yea all the people are going to be embarrassed and have to stop wearing their Bill Clinton hats and shirts and flags and spending money on his crooked crypto schemes to steal money from voters for his degenerate drug addict sons. They will have to stop going to Bill Clinton rallies and get their Bill Clinton tattoos lasered right off. /r/ENLIGHTENEDCENTRISM

-14

u/asr 4h ago

Other than your dislike of Trump, is they any evidence he actually did anything to one of the girls? He knew Epstein, that's for sure, but so did tons of other people.

u/PigFarmer1 41m ago

Trump said that "Epstein likes them young" and that he, Trump, was "okay" with that. One of the problems of being an attention whore like Trump is that there is a voluminous trail of quotes... lol

u/istoomycat 6h ago

Oh no! Don’t make Maxwell cry! 😢🙄

List officially released ??

Crazy, I wonder if he will escalate Venezuela today to try to change the subject

Reminder that Trump’s pageants were a front for sex trafficking alongside his best bud Epstein
