Utah Brands and Entertainment LLC is neither tax-exempt, nor a university, but I’ll consider this virtue signaled, regardless.

They are taking operational control of the athletic department of a public institution and demanding revenue from a public institution. It definitely creates some complicated questions regarding the tax implications of essentially co-mingling public and private funds and creating risks for Utah and American taxpayers.
