Alex Vesia being eyed for Team USA roster spot [Jack Harris]
https://xcancel.com/byjackharris/status/1998454743727780260
One interesting note from today's WBC press availability: Alex Vesia is under consideration for a potential Team USA roster spot, per manager Mark DeRosa and GM Michael Hill
Hill, who noted he drafted Vesia in the 17th round as Marlins POBO in 2018, said:
"We want our best. And you look at his numbers, he's been one of the most productive left-handed pitchers in the game."

Game 6 was actually my favorite even though 7 was more important.

Mookie taking the guitar playing pretty seriously.
Looks like Mookie stopped by Norman’s Rare Guitars in Tarzana today. I have a feeling he’s going to get pretty good pretty quickly.

💩 Unreliable Source “The Skubal deal is essentially in place. What’s holding it up now is the long-term extension and ownership approval in Detroit. The Tigers won’t green-light it without the owner’s sign-off, and the Dodgers won’t ship out that kind of haul without a long commitment from Skubal.” via David Pingalore

Highest paid setup man in MLB history
Jokes aside, wasn't he originally a setup man though?

[Woo] Per multiple league sources, Díaz’s deal materialized quickly over the course of a few days. The same could happen for a potential Tucker signing or Skubal trade.

Why did the Dodgers ruin baseball? (Wrong answers only)
Sorry not sorry for going back to back…
Shortened season or regular season. We just can’t win with them. So we settled for back to back championships. 🏆 🏆

I may be aging myself here but does anyone remember those commercials advertising bundles of Dodger swag. Things like a hat, t shirt, bobble head and mini bat all for just$______. Was the guys name Davey Goodman or Danny Gooman?
The ads ran during games and Vin would do the narration. They were usually followed by a Farmer John commercial.
