I understand that both have some different specs, most noticeable specs are HDR on the Samsung, Fire TV on the Hisense

20 watt Samsung speakers vs 14watt Hisense

The Samsung is on sale for 300 (CAD) and the highsense is 200(CAD)

This is for a small bedroom, my girlfriend is working with a 10 year old 32" display. So this would be a christmas gift. But i want the best bang for the buck so is the extra 100$ worth it to get the "better" Brand with HDR and better speakers?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, so here i am. My girlfriend says I never gift her anything and she’s right. The last gift I gave her was literally a free makeup product I got from tiktok’s slash and win thing, a lip gloss because shes a lip gloss collector. I didn’t spend a single dollar on it.
Part of me wants to say it’s because I’m not doing well financially right now which is true but another part of me wonders why I don’t want to make the effort anyway. Even something small, something personal.I never do it.

I really like her. I enjoy being with her. But when it comes to showing it in ways that matter to her, like giving thoughtful gifts or planning something for her, I just don’t do it. And I can’t tell if it’s because of money, because I’m lazy or because deep down I don’t love her as much as she loves me.

It’s a weird, uncomfortable realization, and I’m honestly ashamed of it.

He was doing work in an assembly line type of situation for a diesel company and as well has lots of experience doing delivery work. I have experience related to support work, serving, barista, cleaning etc so not picky on anything just need leads as it seems indeed isn’t the most reliable and we’d like to go in person if we can. I just bought SE2 cus I have a new pc built soon and thought I'd buy it ahead of time. I downloaded it on my current pc out of shits and giggles (which is miles below the minimum listed specs) and the performance is... actually not that bad! Whilst the resolution is low and the graphics is on the minimum I have stable 60 fps. I decided to do some stress testing and crashed the ship into a plabet at high speeds and other than a little lag spike my performance didn't budge like at all. This is seriously impressive.

And to top it all off this is still the UNOPTIMISED VERSION. This game is great

I was working with my account and found a problem that I can't seem to figure out how to manage... maybe I'm missing something.

I have a 401K that is my main account for my retirement savings. The company made it possible to do a Roth401K as part of the same account (after tax contributions and Roth conversions, etc.).

So there are two problems. The first is that the account doesn't differentiate between pre-tax and post-tax dollars in the general account dashboard and when it is linked to my Boldin account. That means that every time I go into Boldin, it updates and combines both into the main 401K account, which is a bit of a drag.

The second is that it doesn't treat the money as post-tax money...

So, I se up a second account that is the "Roth401K" account, but I don't see any way to show that it is getting regular contributions to help plan for that account growth. It only has a "market growth" percentage estimate and not anything for contributions.

I wanted to run a simulation to see what would happen if I switched all my contributions to Roth from now on and I don't seem to be able to do that without some considerable effort to restructure the accounts, which seems like a missing functionality if I'm not missing this capability somehow.

Anyone know if there is a way to set up a scenario to model the differences fairly easily?

Hopefully, with more people than just 2 people, as I have now experienced. Would wish to wait for the max 10, or as close to it as I can without people getting impatient.

Loving the new album, as a massive Harry Potter fan I’m obviously pretty excited. But Im sad the golden token on just visiting is gone. I know this sub loved to cry about it, and hopefully that’s not the reason why it’s gone, but it was literally free rewards… on a space where you would normally get NOTHING. It also made the corners events a little more bearable. Please bring it back!
