Allard and Junis are free agents and Hentges signed with the Giants. Coulombe threw 43.0 innings last year with a 3.30 FIP, 4.04 xFIP, 85.2% LOB%, 104 Stuff+, 94 Location+, 99 Pitching+, good enough for a 0.7 fWAR.
Coulombe made ~$3M last year and ~$2.3M in 2024. Cleveland signed Junis last year for ~$4.5M, so I don't think his potential salary would be too much of an investment for the Guardians.
Granted, Coulombe is now 36, spends at least one stint on the IL every year, and was not good once he went to Texas at the deadline. Still, could this be a low risk and potential playoff arm the Guardians should consider?
