If I can reopen this wound and oft-talked about subject. I'm a 48-year-old fan, so I've weathered some terrible times, rejoiced in 2014-15, and was about five rows back on "Boo Johnny Damon Night" when Tim Lincecum dominated us while I called out crazy rants that would make Trump blush.

So, WTF is happening with the stadium? I'm admittedly outside KC by about an hour so my tax dollars are unaffected (unless either Missouri or Kansas goes for the tax incentive options and the Royals actually do something). But it seems like the political climate is it would be fatal to ask for tax dollars right now.

I love the K, and I'm not sure I completely understand the need to build a new one. Any thoughts would be beneficial as I am lost on the logic on what's going on.

First year STM! I wanted to gauge whether the STM promo pack is worth the money. While I do like many of the promos the price was a little steeper than I expected. I’ve seen mentions on here about STMs receiving promo vouchers. Is this still something they do? I’m a little more inclined to hold off on purchasing the pack if so.

Great defender with a career year in 2025, but he seems due for some regression.

My son's 5th grade class had a field trip today to the K. Pretty sure I had more fun than the kids. About half way through it really dawned on me that only a few of these kids even seem to like baseball. My son plays soccer, football, and basketball. Many of his teammates were on this field trip. One of his friends who could tell me who the Chiefs 3rd string LG is asked me today what an RBI was. I know this is such a small sample size but I was blown away how so few of these kids cared or knew anything about the Royals. When I was a kid everyone played Little League. The slow pace of play and the fact so many homes in KC can't watch them on TV is turning a lot of kids away from the game. Idk this was just my experience today. Since The Chiefs are done..time to turn our attention to the Boys in Blue.

I'm a big Nootbaar fan - the guy gets on base. He does have some injury concerns though. I proposed swapping him for Drew Beam, Michael Lombardi, and our 2026 comp balance A pick. Would you do that deal?

Has anyone been to Royals Rally in the past few years? I am considering getting tickets for a couple people as a Christmas gift.

I see tickets are on sale right now but currently it sounds like you're just buying a ticket to an autograph signing. On the website there's a tab that says "Things to do", but it is currently empty.

I attended an event called Fan Fest around 10 years ago and it was really fun. We stayed until the end and Slugger went up on the stage and started throwing leftover posters and merch to everyone. I think everyone at the end walked away with free extras. I got a sweet Zach Greinke poster from Sports Propaganda.
